Born November 4th, 1987. Puebla, México.

Joe started to draw since he was a kid and never stopped doing so; his best friends: pencil and paper.

Studied Visual Arts at UNARTE in Puebla city and became professional illustrator and sculptor.

Worked as a sculptor for a stop motion film that sadly never came to life, called ‘Mascotas y Sabandijas ‘Pets & Crawlers’, he even did a few storyboard work for it.

He has done various artworks for artists around the world, from metal to electronica.
In 2020 started to work with Hekwapi records and became a Hek.

Currently working for a light decoration company, ‘Blachere México’ where he designs characters, environments and all kind of decorations for cities, malls, special events, etc. specially for Chirstmas and other holidays.
