Plexigo is the electronic music project by Lovis Einsmann from Germany. Originally from Hamburg in the north, he moved in his youth to Wiesbaden, near Frankfurt am Main. In early childhood, he became fascinated with electronic sounds and played the piano. Around 2009, he started to produce his own tracks and created the "Plexigo" project. At the same time, he had his first DJ gigs in Wiesbaden. From dubby and technoid beats, the Plexigo sound evolved to more psychedelic layers, and so did his DJ sets. He got in contact with Stefan Ludley from Frankfurt am Main, one of the best known DJ's in the Rhein Main area, and their local Goa & PsyTrance scene. Stefan liked his psygressive and psychedelic sound, so Plexigo signed with the Frankfurt based record label "Crystallin Music" and published his first release, "The Kraken.". In 2013, Plexigo founded the event collective "Unterholz" and began to host gatherings in the wild nature heart of Wiesbadens forests with close friends and his brother in crime "Frechenhäuser.". Soon, the gatherings became a well-established happening for a lot of ravers and fraggles. Since these days, "Unterholz" grew up to one of the biggest names of the Goa Scene around the Rhine-Main Area in South-West Germany with their Forest indoor event series "Treibholz" at the Schlachthof Wiesbaden, inviting some of the most famous names of the international Psy Scene.
The music style of Plexigo grew to include more darkish, forest sounds. Today, Plexigo plays his DJ sets all around Europe at different international festivals and gatherings, such as Waldfrieden Wonderland, Daksha Festival, Transylvania Calling, or the Transylvaliens Festival in Romania. Deeply energizing and all-time forward pumping psychedelic bass music with mystical, organic soundscapes and a focus on storytelling. Full Power Night Psy, Twilight, Forest (sometimes with an oldschoolish vibe), and Dark Forest Psytrance! Right now, Plexigo is based in Bremen, Germany. In April 2024, Plexigo signed with the Indian label "Hekwapi Records" to represent, together with his good friend and close mentor "Mico-X" from Frankfurt am Main, the Hekwapi Sound in Germany.
